East Bay Listing Data Coming to California Edition

In early December, MLSListings, Inc. is slated to integrate East Bay data within its California Edition search application, enabling our subscribers to search across seven neighboring MLSs within a single application, at no additional cost.

The addition of East Bay listing data completes a years-long initiative to provide full MLS listing information across 20 counties representing over 65,000 agents in northern California, in a geographic area that spans from Mendocino to Monterey and from the Pacific Coast across to the Sacramento area and the inland corridor.

The completion of this member benefit is particularly impactful for agents covering so-called ‘border’ territories represented by more than one MLS, since it offers a complete picture of available listings within a specific area regardless of which ‘home’ MLS the property listing has originated from. Subscribers with clients in these areas can now search within one application – rather than conducting the same search in multiple MLSs to capture a complete set of listings in a border area.

In addition to its primary function as a listing search application, California Edition also offers a number of key features and functionalities including map search, a quick CMA report, saved searches and tax searches, and provides reports and flyers in a uniform format across multiple MLSs. In addition, those subscribers using Advanced CMA and Advanced Buyer Tour can use those programs in tandem with California Edition to create CMAs and tours using listings from all seven MLSs.

Over the next few months, we plan to introduce a number of new features to California Edition including the development of an ‘email report’ function enabling users to email reports to clients from California Edition; as well as contact management and auto-email components. Additional information will be provided as plans progress.
