Matrix 5.7.12 Release Note

MLSListings, Inc. completed a joint release of MLSListings Matrix Version 5.7.12 Patch along with MLSListings Pro Release 3.26.2 on the evening of October 31, 2011.
The most noticeable change is the addition of “Quick Links” from the Pro Homepage to the most frequently used pages in Matrix:

  • Residential Search button lands directly into the Matrix search screen that enables users to search for Single Family, Townhome and Condo properties.
  • Agent Search button goes to Agent Roster search screen.
  • Office Search button goes to Office Directory search screen.
  • Matrix Dashboard continues to the user-customized front page in Matrix, offering quick access to the specific features each user has set up within Matrix — such as favorite searches, custom statistics, carts, and market watch counts. The Dashboard also automatically shows the most recently emailed contacts, and visitors to your Matrix Client Portals.

This release also included the following fixes and user-requested enhancements:

Auto Email Subject Line is expanded from 50 to 250 characters, so users may include additional information with the Auto Email that goes out to their clients. Remember that the subject line will remain the same with each mailing, unless you change it within Auto Email Settings.

Updated Auto Email Templates By user request, we moved the Link to Portal above the Agent Signature Lines. We updated many of the Agent-only notifications to have better instructions; for example, if an auto-email becomes deactivated, the email alert to the agent will note how to re-activate the auto-email. For those agents using Concierge Mode, the personal note is slated in first before the template text.

Parcels on/off checkbox will enable users to unclick the Parcel Boundary layer in Map Search and Map Results. Because the Parcel Boundary layer is an overlay on top of Bing Maps, occasionally the parcel lines cover parts of a Street Name. Deselecting the checkbox will make the parcel lines disappear. Reselecting will show parcel lines again. Note that Parcel Boundary is only available in 2D format, so they will not show when you are in the defaulted “show angled view”.

“Re-center” link again available in Map Search and Map Results
This link takes you back to your Default Location. In Map Search, this location may be the one you started out with, or the one you set as a Default Location. In Map Results, this location may be the view that shows all results on one page. After you drill down or move the map around, pressing this link returns it back to Default.

New Special Columns in Custom Display Three new special columns are now available for selection when building your Custom Display, so that you can show the View Virtual Tour, To Property History, and To Realist icons. Custom Display Builder is found under My Matrix > Settings.

Addition of TFT Status to Market Watch In the Dashboard, you will see another status added to the Market Watch widget. As well, we updated the colors to better match the status pins that users have become accustomed.

Matrix Displays/ Reports You may have noticed minor improvements along the way in Matrix Display and Reports. As an example, more recently, the Quick CMA Report eliminated the LOE column, in favor of adding the COE Date column for Sold Properties. This was requested by users to be able to index the Sold properties by when they were closed. Other tweaks included expanded Agent Roster and Office Roster information when you clicked on these links. Of particular note, the Office Roster now shows the Designated Participant’s name and DRE. Additional Display/ Report work is being planned throughout the month of November, particularly for the Commercial Industrial and Business Opportunity classes.

1004MC Export Fixed the Appraiser Form 1004MC Export to pull data from Sale Date into the Pending Date column.

CMA Wizard When selecting comparables, the CMA Wizard now only shows carts that contain listings with property types that are applicable to the CMA being created.
