How to Cancel a Pending Listing

Listings can only be Canceled from an Active status.  If you need to Cancel a listing that is currently in a Pending status, you will need to change the status back to Active first.  Please follow these 2-step instructions to Cancel your Pending listing.

Pending to Active

  1. From the My Listings page, click the Change Status button.
  2. Select Transaction Fell Through (TFT) under the New Status section.
  3. (Optional)  Take this time to make any Remarks changes to your listing.
  4. Click Submit Change at the bottom of the page.

Active to Canceled

  1. Go back to your My Listings page, then click Change Status.
  2. Select Cancel Listing under the New Status section.
  3. (Optional)  This will be your last chance to make any Remarks changes to your listing.
  4. Click Submit Change at the bottom of the page.

How to Cancel a listing from a Pending Status

If you have a listing that is currently in a Pending status and would like to change it to a Cancelled status, you will need to change the status back to Active first, and then you will be allowed to Cancel the listing. Please follow these 2 step instructions.

1. Login into pro.mlslistings.com and go to My Listings

a. To the right of the listing you are changing, click on Change Status

b. Under New Status, select Transaction Fell Through

c. Then click on Submit Change at the bottom

(This brings the listing back to an Active status)

2. Click on the My Listings tab at the top

a. To the right of your listing, click on Change Status

b. Under New Status, select Cancel Listing

c. Then click on Submit Change at the bottom

(This changes your listing to a Cancelled status)
