How to Use MongoFax

MongoFax is a Free PERK offered to MLS Listings members that allows you to Fax your paper documents to any Email address.  The faxed documents are then received as an attached PDF file in your Email.

You may only have a physical paper copy of your document.  If you have a Fax machine, MongoFax can help you convert your paper documents into a PDF that you can Email to yourself or anyone else.  You can then save the PDF document onto your computer to Print or Email as needed.

To access MongoFax, start on the Pro Homepage and click My Products at the top.

You will see MongoFax on the list.  Click on MongoFax to generate their Fax Cover Sheet.

Once the Cover Sheet appears, enter in your Email Information. Your PDF Reader program will auto-complete the boxes for you.  You can also choose to print a blank copy for your records.  This way you can simply complete the copy by hand and use it as a Cover Sheet.

Please note that you may only include one Email Address in the To: field, and one Email Address in the Cc: field.

The From: field allows you to provide an  Email Address for where the Email is being sent from.  This allows the recipient to identify who sent the Email, enables replies to be sent back to the From: Address, and provides a way to confirm and track the Email.  The From: Address will also receive a copy of the document.

The Subject: field will show the Title of your Email.  It is generally a good idea to base the subject on the type of document.

A Notes section also exists that allows you to provide a short message to the body of your Email.  Use this section to include further details about your attached document.

Print the completed Fax Cover Sheet.

Note the Fax Number displayed at the bottom of your Fax Cover Sheet.  Please Fax the Cover Sheet and your attached document to this number.  Once MongoFax receives and processes your Fax (usually within minutes), your Email recipient will receive an Email with your Fax attached as a PDF.
