  1. Once you have logged into Matrix (if you don’t know , CLICK HERE to view the “How To: Access Matrix), take your cursor and put it over the “Search” tab (Note: you can also click on the “Search” tab but it’s not as fast)
  2. From the drop down, select the category you want (Residential, MultiFamily, Comm Ind, Open House, Cross Property, and Quick) [in this example, we will choose "Residential"]
  3. This will pull a sub category. Select what you want to search for (in this example, we will choose “SFR/Townhouse/Condo”
  4. Enter your criteria (example: SFR, 3 to 4 beds, 2 baths or more, 2000 sqft or more, 5000 sqft lot or more, Active, $700,000 to $800,000 in San Jose and not an REO sale)
  5. For price, you can use the “000s” options which puts the price in THOUSANDS. So, 600 becomes 600,000. If you prefer not to have the 3 zeroes, simply un-check it next to the price
  6. Note: your option for Short Sales and REO’s known under the category called “Additional Listing Info” has been moved to ADVANCED SEARCH
  7. Look at the count and if satisfied with the results, click on “Results”
